A truck load of the bumper cars arrive at the park fresh from their long journey across the Atlantic. Traffic Jam was the world's largest bumper car ride when it opened. The bumper cars proved so popular a second set known as the Fender Bender was added as part of the Fun Fair section of the park which opened in 1975. Some of the cars pictured here are still in use today at their new location, Autobahn. |

The decorative roof panels await installation on the framework. The building would have a canvas roof throughout its time in the park, which was one of the causes for its eventual removal |
